Samantha Moore, Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist

Samantha graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and completed further post-graduate study in 2017, receiving a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.

In addition to the post-graduate qualification, over her career to enhance her clinical skills Samantha has completed many short which include; Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute Clinical Pilates Matwork and Equipment series, Tendinopathy Symposium (tendon injury management), Lyn Watson Shoulder Course (shoulder injury management), Neuromuscular Dry Needling and the Australian Physiotherapy Association Sports and Spinal Level 1 Courses.

Originally from QLD, Samantha commenced her career in a private practice in Airlie Beach, where she was involved in managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, volunteered for the local football team and conducted workplace visits to the Whitsunday Islands.  In 2013 she relocated to Victoria and over the years has worked in a mixture of private practice, aged care, public health and for the Australian Defence Force, which markedly broadened her experience and clinical skills as a physiotherapist.

On a personal level, in the past Samantha has competed in a wide variety of sports including state level hockey and Irish dancing, and club level soccer, judo and netball.  Currently Samantha leisurely enjoys yoga, Pilates, running, hiking, dirt bike riding, camping, surfing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.

Samantha finds that being able to use her physiotherapy knowledge and experience to help people manage their injuries and improve their physical fitness makes working as a physiotherapist an extremely rewarding occupation.
